       Montana is known as a place that’s easygoing, welcoming, and downright neighborly—and that's one of the reasons Black Bull takes a different angle on the idea of 'private club.' Life at Black Bull is all about spending time with dynamic friends and neighbors who love the outdoors. Peruse our extensive wine list, selection of top-shelf liquors—or try Black Bull’s signature cocktail, the “Hucklebully.” Depending on your mood (and the weather), you can dine inside or al fresco, or why not come in for a quick snack at ‘the turn’ during an afternoon round of golf?

       Brief Black Bull History

　　Ranching in the Gallatin Valley has been a way of life for generations--and still is, for many folks. For more than 30 years, the Bozeman, Montana property on which our community sits was home to the Leachman Angus Ranch. Jay Leachman, an avid golfer himself, had always imagined what this land would look like if it was home to a golf course instead of pasture.
